I made this recicpe twice in the last week. The first time I did a half batch. I keep them plain, just grains and a subtle maple taste- no added nuts, fruit, chocolate. They were so perfect for breakfast that I made them again, this time a full batch.Tuesday, February 1, 2011
Great Grains(!) Muffins
In my head I've been calling these Great Scott! Muffins.

This is a simple but great recipe. Good plain, even better toasted with peanut butter. Happy Tummy is hosting this week so find the recipe over there.

Haha, I LOVE "Great Scott! Muffins." Perfect name. I loved them too, and I'm so glad you did! Thanks for baking with me this week...twice :)
I made mine plain, too. They tasted like corn muffins, though, still yummy.
They sound so good, just plain and simple like that. Maybe I'll try them again like that soon. And the PB?? Yum!
I agree with you simple and easy to make! I liked them with chocolate chips and plain too!
Oooh, peanut butter, why didn't I think of that? I loved these, definitely a repeat, and soon!
Too funny, we just watched an episode of Fringe last weekend that had a much older Doc playing a washed up rock star.
Oooh, peanut butter!
Haha! Your picture of Doc brown made me laugh! :) Glad these turned out so well!
Everything's better with peanut butter! I haven't gotten to these yet, hopefully soon.

Mine plain - as well, but loaf style. Not the sweetest thing, but still good. Your name for them says it all!
